A Hanover man has died from injuries that he experienced in an accident at his workplace.
Thomas Kress, 54, was moving a piece of equipment at Growmark FS, in Latimore Township, Adams County, at about 4 p.m. on Thursday when a forklift hit it. He was struck in the torso during the collision, and died about 2 1/2 hours later at York Hospital, the York County Coroner’s Office reported.

No one else was hurt.
An autopsy revealed that the cause of death was blunt force trauma of the torso. The manner of death, the coroner reported, was accident.
Kress was a member of the New Oxford Social and Athletic Club and McSherrystown Home, according to his obituary. He liked watching sprint car racing and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Orioles.
